PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing method capable of reproducing and outputting not only information recorded in a DVD-Video disk but also disk associated information (meta-information) associated with information recorded in the DVD-Video disk.SOLUTION: In the information reproducing method, file system information is read from the DVD-Video disk, a request to obtain meta-information is generated based on at least one information of size information and recording date and time information of a video title video included in the file system information, the request to obtain meta-information is transmitted to a server, the meta information corresponding to the DVD-Video disk searched based on the request to obtain meta-information is received from the server and reproducing information based on the meta-information is output. |
