PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber bearing device which can be compact in size by reducing its thickness and width while exhibiting a lifting force stop function.SOLUTION: A slit 4 extending in the bridge axis direction is formed at the upper end corner of an upper end steel plate 3a which is disposed on the upper end surface of a rubber laminate 2, and an upper end projection 7a of a side block 7 is opposed to the slit 4 with a gap interposed therebetween. When a lifting force acts on the device, the slit 4 and the upper end projection 7a are brought into contact with each other to function the device as a lift force stopper, and a gap g1 between the slit 4 and the upper end projection 7a in a direction perpendicular to the bridge axis direction is set smaller than a gap g2 between the side surface of the rubber laminate 2 and the inner surface 7c of the side block 7 facing the side surface of the rubber laminate in a direction perpendicular to the bridge axis direction. When a force in a direction perpendicular to the bridge axis acts thereon, the slit 4 and the upper end projection 7a are brought into contact with each other. |
