PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film which exhibits chemical resistance more excellent than that of a polyvinyl chloride film and to produce a production method thereof.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by casting a halogen-containing vinyl monomer (especially, vinyl chloride and/or vinylidene chloride)/acrylonitrile copolymer into a film. The content of acrylonitrile in the copolymer is desirably 30-70 wt.%. Further, it is desirable that the film is produced by cast film formation.
