PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light and soft yarn with reliable electroconductivity, and produce fiber products by making use of the lightness, flexibility and reliable electroconductivity of the yarn, and antistatic mesh cloths, snow protecting nets, lightning protection nets, electromagnetic wave shield nets and antennae owing to excellent electroconductivity of the yarn.SOLUTION: The electroconductive yarn in which deposited membranes are mutually contacting in a plurality of times is prepared by depositing a thinly coated membrane of a metal, alloy or electroconductive compound on both sides of paper or a synthetic resin film by well-known vacuum deposition, ionic deposition or spattering techniques, slitting the same and giving a large number of twists to the same. By using the electroconductive yarn, woven fabrics and knit fabrics are produced, or electroconductive fiber products are produced by using the electroconductive yarn as a part of materials for woven, knit and nonwoven fabrics and the like. Or, the antenna can be produced by sewing required length of strands made by twisting one or more of the electroconductive yarns to a fabric by an embroidery machine and bringing the strands to be isolated without mutual contact to keep insulation. |
