PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite structure for water way equipment, which has a two-layer structure of a modified sulfur solidified substance layer and a cement one, which is excellent in acid resistance, salt resistance, etc., and which can be relatively easily manufactured by suppressing an increase in manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A box culvert 1 for the water way as an example of the composite structure for the water way equipment includes an inside layer 3 which is made of a modified sulfur solidified substance produced by mixing aggregate into molten modified sulfur and solidifying a mixture, and a concrete layer 5 which is formed by placing cement concrete on the outside of the inside layer 3. The inside layer 3 made of the modified sulfur solidified substance is used as an inner surface of the water way.
