PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the protecting performance for the head and waist of an occupant seated on a vehicular seat by suppressing the rocking of a head protecting inflation part and a waist protecting inflation part during inflation.SOLUTION: An airbag 40 is provided between an occupant P and a body side part, and an area from a part corresponding to the head PH of the occupant P to a part corresponding to the waist PP is assumed to be a deployment area DA. A main inflation part 45 of the airbag 40 is inflated over the whole area in an almost vertical direction in the rear part of the deployment area DA. The head protecting inflation part 46 is inflated in the front upper part of the deployment area DA, and the waist protecting inflation part 47 is expanded in the front lower part of the deployment area DA. A non-inflation part 48 is located between the head protecting inflation part 46 and the waist protecting inflation part 47. The upper part of the main inflation part 45 and the head protecting inflation part 46 are partitioned by an upper partition 51 having an upper communication passage 52, and the lower part of the main inflation part 45 and the waist protecting inflation part 47 are partitioned by a lower partition 53 having a lower communication passage 54. |
