<p>The invention relates to an iron-based spray material for thermally coating a substrate, in particular for thermally coating a running surface of a cylinder of a reciprocating internal combustion engine, wherein the spray material comprises FeTiO3 as a base material. According to the invention, the spray material comprises at least one first solid lubricant made of a sulfide and a second solid lubricant made of a fluoride.
