PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of graphite which furnace damage is little and can manufacture homogeneous graphite.SOLUTION: A continuous manufacturing method of graphite includes at least: a step of charging carbon materials from a slot of a vertical graphitizing furnace while making all or a part of the carbon materials collide with a diffuser; a step of depositing the charged carbon materials at inside of the furnace and heating it to 2400-3200°C to graphitize; a step of cooling the graphitized carbon materials; and a step of pulling out the cooled graphite from the lower part of the furnace. The distance from the slot of the furnace to the surface of the sedimentary layer of the carbon materials after having deposited at inside of furnace is more than 1 m.SELECTED DRAWING: None
