PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a fine cellulose fiber madreporic body capable of easily producing a fine cellulose fiber madreporic body.SOLUTION: The production method of a fine cellulose fiber madreporic body comprises: (A) a step for processing a pulp formed of a high purity α-cellulose, by a mechanical pulverization method with coexistence of a hydrophobization agent, to acquire a fine cellulose fiber; (B) a step for coating a fluid dispersion of the fine cellulose fiber on a support medium; and (C) a step for performing dehydration and deposition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
