The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device having a curved shape, which is capable of preventing upper and lower substrates from being misaligned with each other. The liquid crystal display device includes a display substrate having a plurality of pixel electrodes and a curvature along a first direction; an opposite substrate coupled to the display substrate to face the display substrate and curved together with the display substrate; and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the display substrate and the opposite substrate. Each pixel electrode includes a plurality of domains arranged on a plane along a second direction crossing the first direction. Each pixel electrode includes a plurality of branch electrodes extending in a direction inclined to the first and second directions, wherein the branch electrodes of two domains adjacent to each other in the second direction are arranged in an alternating manner.
