An exit gate of a milking parlour is proposed, said exit gate comprising a pivotable shaft (1), at least one driver (3) which is connected in a positionally fixed manner to the shaft (1), and at least one gate element (5, 4) which is connected releasably to the driver (3). There is a connecting unit (9) which has a first part (10) and a second part (11). The first part (10) is connected to the gate element (5, 4). The second part (11) is connected to the first part (10). The connecting unit (9) has a channel (12) through which the shaft (1) extends. A receptacle (13) into which the driver (3) at least partially projects is provided.
