A network computer, method and computer readable medium encoded with a software program for communicating between the network computer and a multifunction peripheral device over a network, the multifunction peripheral device having a user interface to display user interface controls to a user. The network computer comprises sending means for sending, to the multifunction peripheral device, information associated with the user interface controls to be displayed on the user interface of the multifunction peripheral device. The network computer is provided with software adapted for, upon receiving an indication from the multifunction peripheral device that a user has selected a service, providing said information associated with at least one user interface control over the network to the multifunction peripheral device, said information providing a basis for the multifunction peripheral device to update the display of the at least one user interface control on the user interface. |
