Device and method to fix the position of a solder connector to a solar cell

The device has a conveyor belt (5) driven by a drive for moving connectors (3.1-3.n) and solar cells (2.1-2.n) to a soldering station. Gripper and storage devices (4, 6) cyclic grip and drop the connectors and the solar cells in a connection-oriented arrangement on the conveyor belt. The gripper and storage devices assign a tacking station working in a bar for tacking the connectors at the solar cells. The solar cells are arranged between the gripper and storage devices and the soldering station. A feeding unit vertically feeds a stitching head with respect to the connectors. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing a position of a solder connector to a solar cell.
