A process for controlling the coolant pressure in the primary circuit (2) of a nuclear reactor installation, especially a PWR, comprises adjusting the steam pressure during start-up and shutdown. A pressure storage unit (24) is connected to the primary circuit, and the coolant temperature is raised or lowered in the circuit. The pressure storage unit is then disconnected from the primary circuit, and pressure is raised using the storage unit and lowered by removing coolant.
|
