SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING WATER QUALITY OF RIVER

PURPOSE: A river water purification system is provided to improve the productivity of purified water using a riverbed filtration method, by securing the flux at a cistern. CONSTITUTION: A river water purification system comprises the following: a cistern prepared at a river side to be connected to a river through a river water inlet and a river water outlet; plural partition walls(12,13) located inside the cistern; a filtered water collecting pipe buried under the bottom of the cistern, in which filtered water filtered by a soil layer flows in; a filtered water aqueduct(21) collecting the filtered water flowing into the filtered water collecting pipe; and a filtered water collecting container(23) connected to the filtered water aqueduct to supply the filtered water to the river.
