PURPOSE: An anticorrosive coating composition is provided to improve durability and chemical resistance and to prevent corrosion of nonferrous metal and iron construction caused by acidic rain or sulfurous acid gas. CONSTITUTION: An anticorrosive coating composition for nonferrous metal and iron construction comprises 15-30 parts by weight of zinc or ferric oxide, 100.0 parts by weight of epoxy resin, 5 -20 parts by weight of polyglycidyl compound, 3-25 parts by weight of silica, 20-40 parts by weight of zirconium, 18-35 parts by weight of alumina, and 40-80 parts by weight of cycloaliphatic amine compound. The epoxy resin consists of a bisphenol F type epoxy resin, a novolac epoxy resin, a dimer fatty acid-modified epoxy resin and a silicate-modified epoxy resin. |
