An indoor unit provided with a novel cleaning unit in which a brush and a compressing rod are rotated in an interlocked manner. A cleaning unit (16) provided to an indoor unit is equipped with a brush (70) rotatably supported and scraping dust adhering to an air filter, a compressing rod (71) rotatably supported at a position facing the brush (70), and a dust box (72) for containing dust. The brush (70) and the compressing rod (71) are configured to be rotated in an interlocked manner and rotate in the directions (D2, D3) opposite from each other. The brush (70) and the compressing rod (71) are arranged in the width direction of the air filter. |
