MULTI-MODE BASE STATION AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS METHOD THEREOF

A multi-mode BS and its communication method are disclosed herein. The multi-mode BS communication method includes: creating a physical link between the REC and the RE in the multi-mode BS, where the REC includes at least two main control modules and master nodes, and each master node is set for each main control module respectively; in the RE, setting multiple slave nodes corresponding to the master nodes respectively; creating logical links between the master nodes and the corresponding slave nodes respectively in the physical link; and transmitting data through the logical links. The multi-mode BS uses the foregoing communication method for communication. The embodiments of the present invention ensure normal communication in a multi-mode BS scenario.
