PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing edge burrs of a sample is provided to reduce quality deviation and improve the reliability of measurement value by removal in the both side protrusions of the specimen due to the friction contact of a grinding guide plane. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing edge burrs of a sample comprises a rubber belt(10), a top grindstone roll(6), and a top grindstone roll gap adjuster(9). The rubber belt transfers the specimen by the drive of driving rolls(15,15a). The top grindstone roll is installed on the top of the rubber belt. Grinding surfaces(14,14a) are formed at both ends of the top grindstone roll. The grinding surfaces remove the edge burrs of the upside of the specimen with the friction contact according to rotation. The top grindstone roll gap adjuster is connected to the rotary shaft of the top grindstone roll to adjust the gap between the top grindstone roll and the rubber belt. |
