PURPOSE: An antistatic optical film, a manufacturing method thereof, and an image display device are provided to obtain an optical property and a high antistatic effect. CONSTITUTION: An antistatic layer(2) is made of water soluble or water distributable conductive polymer. A pressure reduction adhesive layer(3) is laminated on the surface of the antistatic layer. A release sheet(4) is formed on the pressure reduction adhesive layer.
