METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY PROVIDING DVB-H AND STREAMING SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method for simultaneously providing DVB-H and streaming service is provided to improve the multimedia accessibility by indicating both DVB-H and streaming service using one application. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal enters into the DVB-H(Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld) broadcasting network(S101). The portable terminal receives an EPG(Electronic Program Guide) about the broadcast information of the DVB-H channel(S102). If the EPG information is received, the portable terminal confirms information about the streaming channel within EPG in predetermined idle field(S103). If the streaming channel information is obtained, the portable terminal displays both DVB-H channel and streaming channel at the same time(S105).
