PURPOSE: A hybrid optical integration circuit assembly for an optical receiving module and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily connect a flat optical waveguide to an active element. CONSTITUTION: A flat optical waveguide(200) transfers an optical signal, and some portion of a substrate(100) is laminated on some portion of the flat optical waveguide. An active element is formed on the substrate, and a mirror(400) reflects the optical signal to the active region of the active element through the substrate via the flat optical waveguide.
