METHOD OF FABRICATING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a liquid crystal display device is provided to form an active pattern and an etch stopper by a mask process at once to reduce the number of masks used in a process of manufacturing a thin film transistor, thereby saving costs of a manufacturing process of a liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: The first substrate is classified into a pixel unit, the first pad unit, and the second pad unit. A gate line(116) and a data line defining a pixel area are formed on an array substrate(110). A thin film transistor which is a switching device is formed on an area where the gate line crosses the data line. Part of a source electrode is expanded in one direction to form part of the data line.
