PURPOSE: Contact type shear horizontal(SH)-guided wave magnetostrictive transducers are provided to generate bias magnetic field which is controllable without a separate unit using a plate type solenoid adopted transduction band. CONSTITUTION: A transduction band(300) for transducing electromagnetic sound is arranged on the surface of a sample. A radiofrequency coil is arranged on the transduction band. The transduction band includes plated type solenoid(310). The plate type solenoid includes a magnetostrictive strip(311) and solenoid(312). The magnetostrictive strip generates the electromagnetic sound transduction. The solenoid forms bias magnetic field to the longitudinal direction of the magnetostrictive strip.
