A fixed contact structure of a slide switch comprising a housing (2); an accommodation section (21b) formed in said housing (2) to receive a slider (24) such that said slider (24) is adapted for sliding movement therein; traveling contacts (24b) having contact faces and accommodated in said slider (24) such that said contact faces are exposed outside thereof; and a printed circuit board (22) having fixed contact plates (22c) attached to said printed circuit board; said printed circuit board (22) being adapted to be loaded onto said housing (2) such that said fixed contact plates (22c) are brought into electrical conduction with said traveling contacts.
