PURPOSE: A hydrogen storage system for a vehicle is provided to appropriately accept the amount of hydrogen required for a fuel cell vehicle and to remarkably reduce manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A hydrogen storage system for a vehicle comprises a container assembly(5), an outer container(7), and a manifold. The container assembly is composed of multiple unit containers(3) filled with metallic alloy for hydrogen storage. An inlet and an outlet(13) for a heat exchange medium are formed in the outer container. The manifold is connected to the unit containers to charge and emit hydrogen.
