PURPOSE: A novel shampoo composition containing herb extract is provided to maintain health of scalp and hair and to prevent inflammation of scalp. CONSTITUTION: A shampoo composition contains extract of 10-15 weight% of Melandryum firmum, 10-15 weight% of Selaginella tamariscina, 10-15 weight% of Hypericum ascyron, 10-15 weight% of Hepatica asiatica, 5-10 weight% of Rumex crispus, 5-10 weight% of Lych fructus, 5-10 weight% of Aurantii immaturus fructus, 3-5 weight% of Mori folium, 3-5 weight% of Achillea sibirica and 3-5 weight% of Hypericum erectum.
