STABILITY COOLING SYSTEM FOR A VESSEL

PURPOSE: A stabilizing cooling system of a ship is provided to prevent the viscosity of lubricating oil from excessively rising by keeping the temperature of cooling water, supplied to a main lubricant cooler, above the set temperature. CONSTITUTION: A stabilizing cooling system of a ship comprises a clean water cooling pump(110), a main seawater cooling pump(120), a cooling device(130), a first temperature sensor(140), a control panel(150), a flow control valve(170), a second temperature sensor(180), and a valve controller(190). The main seawater cooling pump pumps seawater flowing in through a seawater inlet. The cooling device cools the clean water, provided by the clean water cooling pump, using the seawater provided by the main seawater cooling pump. The control panel receives the cooling water temperature detected by the first temperature sensor and controls the main seawater cooling pump according to the received temperature value. The flow control valve is installed in the spot where a connection pipe(132) and a bypass pipe(112) meet together. The second temperature sensor senses the temperature of the cooling water passing through the flow control valve. The valve controller receives the cooling water temperature detected by the second temperature sensor and controls the flow control valve according to the received temperature value.
