PURPOSE: A dishwasher detecting the pollution of the material to be cleansed to the high precision is provided to perform proper wash by detecting the dirt of dishware of high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A dish washer(1) includes a washing tub(2), a cleaning water sprinkler, a turbidity detecting unit(60), and a controller. The washing tub accepts the material to be cleaned with a storing part. The cleaning water sprinkler cleans the cleaning water of reservoir on the material to be cleaned of the cleaning bath. The turbidity detecting unit is located higher than the level of the residual water. A washing period activates the cleaning water injector.
