PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are provided to automatically recognize a face of each person in a picture of a person and display a thumbnail, thereby selecting a face of a person for enhancement. CONSTITUTION: A control unit enters a picture view mode(S301). In a picture view mode, the control unit controls the display of a specific picture(S302). The control unit recognizes the face of persons in the specific picture(S303). The control unit displays the faces of the recognized person through a thumbnail image(S304). If on thumbnail image is selected, the control unit directly displays the face of a person corresponding to the thumbnail image in a preset size(S305,S306). |
