PURPOSE: A semiconductor memory device and a driving method thereof are provided to stably transmit data by controlling the pulse width of a column selection signal according to a time point when the column command signal is applied. CONSTITUTION: A source signal generating part(510) generates a source pulse signal having a pulse width corresponding to a time point when a column command signal is applied after an active command. A column decoding part(530) generates a column selection signal corresponding to the result of decoding a plurality of addresses and the source pulse signal. A command decoding part generates an active signal corresponding to the active command in response to an external command signal. |
