VIRTUAL MUSICAL INTRUMENTS AND METHOD USING MOTION RECOGNITION

PURPOSE: A virtual musical instrument for recognizing motion and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to play the virtual musical instrument more excitingly by moving a fingerboard of the instrument to a desirable position through a motion detection sensor. CONSTITUTION: A virtual instrument is mounted at a mobile information device(1), and a user shakes the mobile information device. A gyro sensor of the mobile information device obtains the angle information and the direction for the motion of the user. A fingerboard(3) is displayed on a touch screen(2), and a finger board which is not displayed on the touch screen is displayed on the touch screen in the shaking direction.
