The invention generally relates to retrovirus associated diseases, including diseases caused by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or human T-cell leukaemia virus (HTLV). In particular, the invention discloses host proteins targeted by viral proteins in retrovirus associated diseases, and teaches related products and methods useful for the study, assessment and treatment of said diseases.
