<p>Disclosed is a liquid crystal display apparatus (1) which comprises a liquid crystal panel (2), an illuminating device (3) that emits illumination light to the liquid crystal panel (2), and an outer case that accommodates the liquid crystal panel (2) and the illuminating device (3). The outer case includes a bezel (4) disposed adjacent to the liquid crystal panel (2) and a frame (frame member; 5) that has a sidewall (5b) to which a circuit board (9) having a light emitting diode (8) mounted thereon is attached and that is contained in the bezel (4). Moreover, a protrusion (heat conductive portion; 14) that conducts heat generated at the light emitting diode (8) from the frame (5) to the bezel (4) is formed between a side surface (4b) of the bezel (4) and the sidewall (5b) of the frame (5).</p> |
