ION MOBILITY SPECTROMETER AND ION COLLECTOR THEREOF

An ion mobility spectrometer and an ion collector (50) thereof are disclosed. The ion collector (50) includes a restraining mesh (15) for restraining the influence of the ion drifting motion in the drift region on collection ions, and a first electrode (16) arranged near the restraining mesh (15) along the downstream direction of the ion drifting motion. The first electrode (16) connects with the restraining mesh (15) mechanically and electrically. The restraining mesh (15) has the same potential with the first electrode (16). And a focusing electric field is produced between the ion collecting portion and the restraining mesh and the first electrode. Ions entering the collection region do not scatter to a shielding mask (21), thereby the collection efficiency is increased.
