WEAR LEVELING OF SOLID STATE DISKS DISTRIBUTED IN A PLURALITY OF REDUNDANT ARRAY OF INDEPENDENT DISK RANKS

PURPOSE: Wear leveling of solid state disks distributed in a plurality of redundant array of independent disk ranks is provided to first allocate a spare space to SSDs with more abrasion than other SSDs, thereby realizing distributed sparing. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of SSD(Solid State Disks)s(102a~102n) are allocated to RAID(Redundant Array of Independent Disks) ranks(104a~104m) by an operation device(100). At least one selected SSD is determined by the operation device. Relatively more data and parity information are recorded in RAID ranks in which at least one selected SSD is lost by the operation device.
