PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus with a copy protection function using QR codes (R), which increases the speed of decoding and comparing of the QR codes (R).SOLUTION: QR codes (R) printed on a paper medium are input by a scanner, and the read QR codes (R) are successively compared. Partial images of data of QR codes (R) are compared with an expected value, and copy operation is stopped when the comparing results in agreement at a fixed or higher rate, but otherwise, the comparing of next QR code (R) is started. Thus the image processing with the high-speed copy protection function is implemented. |
