PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine casing which is excellent in resistance to oxidization even at 560°C or higher and needs no work thereto in a depressurized atmosphere and further provide a steam turbine which is equipped with the casing and is operable at 560°C or higher.SOLUTION: An oxidation-resistant coating layer is included which comprises one or two layers containing Cr of 50% or more on a surface layer of the steam turbine casing. The coating layer is 100 μm or less in thickness in total. The coating layer has 0.05 to 0.9% porosity. The coating layer contains aluminum Al other than chrome Cr. The coating layer contains nickel Ni other than chrome Cr. A casing basal member contains iron Fe as a primary component and further contains at least chrome Cr, molybdenum Mo and vanadium V. |
