PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out all of maintenance and inspection works and the like of a hall lantern from landing side.SOLUTION: The hall lantern of elevator includes: a light transmissive opening/closing panel openably/closably installed on a jamb, constituted of longitudinal members and a lateral member each having a box shape, by use of hinges; a light source arranged in the jamb to illuminate the opening/closing panel; and a locking device holding the opening/closing panel in the closed position. The opening/closing panel and hinges are arranged in a landing side surface of the jamb such that the opening/closing panel opens toward the landing side. The locking device can be operated to open from the landing side with use of a tool which is inserted through a gap between the jamb and the opening/closing panel. |
