PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater capable of informing a user about a failure of the equipment when a hot water filling solenoid valve for filling hot water to a bathtub is fixed.SOLUTION: The storage type water heater includes: a hot water storage tank 3 for storing hot water; a bath hot water supply pipe 84 for supplying hot water from the hot water storage tank 3 to the bathtub 5; a flow rate detecting means 82 for detecting a flow rate of hot water within the bath hot water supply pipe 84; the hot water filling solenoid valve 83 for opening/closing a flow rate within the bath hot water supply pipe 84; an informing means 96 for informing a failure; and a control means 50 for instructing opening/closing of the hot water filling solenoid valve 83. Although a valve closing instruction is issued to the hot water filling solenoid valve 83 by the control means 50, when a flow of hot water is detected by the flow rate detecting means 82, a failure is informed by the informing means 96. |
