PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the attachment and detachment of a battery case while enabling the battery case to be supported tightly by a body side.SOLUTION: The electrically driven tiller is constituted as follows. An opening part (6b) is formed at the center part in the right and left direction of a rotary cover (6), and a wall part (6a) is formed along the opening part (6b). The battery case (9) is constituted so as to be carried by the side of a machine frame (1), so that the wall part (6a) may support the right and left side faces of the battery case (9) to enable the battery case (9) to be freely attached or detached to or from the side of the machine frame (1) in the upper and lower directions.
