PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clinical thermometer which can easily be carried, has power saving properties, and is easily and reliably attached at an armpit.SOLUTION: The electronic clinical thermometer for a measurement region at the armpit includes a grip and a temperature display part where a temperature measuring part is supplied with power from a power supply battery when the temperature measuring part is exposed from a housing accommodating the measurement region for body temperature measurement. A reed switch (magnet reed switch) is used for a power supply on/off-switch. A body 2 constituting the housing and a cap 3 constituting the housing are formed of materials having impact resistance such as styrene resin (high impact styrene, ABS resin), and polyolefin resin (polypropylene, polyethylene). |
