A springing arrangement for a torsion bar (1) of a vehicle comprises an elongate connecting member (3) having a first longitudinal end portion with a coupling section (10) for coupling the connecting member (3) to the torsion bar (1) and a second longitudinal end portion, and a control device (5) coupled to the second longitudinal end portion of the connecting member (3) at an articulation joint (4), whereby the control device (5) is adapted to act on the connecting member (3) such that a reactive force is applied via the connecting member (3) to the torsion bar (1).
