PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solid oxide fuel cell by bonding the unit cell of a fuel cell to a metal member, using a metal for a sealing member, even at lower temperatures and under lower pressure.SOLUTION: Mirror polishing treatment is applied to a portion bonded to the unit cell 110 of the fuel cell in a cell cover 120 (step S12); subsequently, aluminum layers 118, 122 having strong adhesion beforehand are formed on the respective bonding portions of the unit cell 110 of the fuel cell and the cell cover 120 by a vacuum deposition method (step S13); after that, the aluminum layer 118 formed in the unit cell 110 of the fuel cell is brought into contact with the aluminum layer 122 formed in the cell cover 120 (step S14); the unit cell 110 of the fuel cell is bonded to the cell cover 120 by fusing the aluminum layers 118, 122 (step S15); and fused aluminum is oxidized (step S16). |
