PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an off-road traveling performance by suppressing the deformation of a block toward various directions without losing road surface scratching effect by the edge of a block tread surface thereof.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire for traveling off-road has in a tread part a block pattern where a plurality of blocks 9 are provided. Each block 9 includes a tread surface 11 facing radially outward of the tire, and wall surfaces 12 extending in a radially inward direction of the tire from the tread surface 11 and continuing from a tread bottom surface 10. At least one of the blocks 9 has a circularity Eb of an outline shape Sb of a cross section which is in parallel to the tread surface 11 and located at a position of a block root portion apart from the tread bottom surface 10 by a distance of 10% of a block height h, and the value of the circularity Eb is greater than a circularity Et of an outline shape St of the tread surface 11. Herein, the circularity is calculated based on equation (1): circulation=4π*S/L; wherein π indicates a circumference ratio, S indicates an area surrounded by an outline shape, and L indicates a perimeter length of the outline shape. |
