PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for executing efficient image formation while ensuring user's convenience, to provide a method of controlling the image forming apparatus, and to provide a program.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a setting means for setting an image forming conditions of an image formed on a sheet, a conveying means for conveying a plurality of sheets on which the image is formed at a first interval or at a second interval shorter than the first interval when the sheets are conveyed, and an image forming means for forming the image based on the image forming condition set by the setting means for the sheets having been conveyed by the conveying means. The image forming apparatus also includes a controlling means that makes the conveying means convey the plurality of sheets at the first interval, permits change of the image forming condition by the setting means during execution of operation of forming the image with the image forming means, makes the conveying means convey the plurality of sheets at the second interval, and restricts change of the image forming condition by the setting means during execution of operation of forming the image with the image forming means. |
