PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information-providing on-vehicle device capable of displaying and reproducing information only on a spot operated normally, wit respect to information provision from various communication media.SOLUTION: In the information-providing on-vehicle device includes a receiving device for receiving information transmitted through narrow-band communication from a communication device installed on the roadside; an information providing determination device 105 for determining whether information is to be provided or not by interpreting the received information; and an information display reproducing device 111 for displaying and reproducing the information based on the determination result, there are further provided a wide-area communication device 107 for receiving information from a center device 300; a map-related information storage device 109 for recording a spot for providing information included in information received by the wide-area communication device; and a display determination device 110 for stopping display reproduction of information provision at a specific spot recorded in the map-related information storage device performed by the information display reproducing device, in response to an instruction by information received by the wide-area communication device. |
