PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar ray heat converter capable of efficiently converting energy of solar rays to thermal energy.SOLUTION: The solar ray heat converter A is formed to have a layer shape. The solar ray heat converter A includes: a first layer 2 receiving solar rays Y from one face side, transmitting rays having a wavelength shorter than a predetermined wavelength λand reflecting rays having a wavelength exceeding the predetermined wavelength λ; a second layer 4 provided on a side opposite to the side of the first layer 2 receiving the solar rays Y and absorbing the rays transmitted through the first layer 2 to increase temperature; and a heating medium 3 made to flow between the first layer 2 and the second layer 4 and heated by heat transfer from the second layer 2 of which temperature is increased. |
