PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide test bench facilities, especially test benches for internal combustion engines and/or vehicle power trains.SOLUTION: The test bench facilities are connected to at least one electric machine 4, that is connected to a specimen 1 and drives and/or applies a load on the specimen 1 and include electric machines 4 or control units 6 for the respective electric machines 4. At least one model 7 for a multi-mass flywheel is mounted in the control units 6 to unite a power train simulation and a vehicle simulation to the combustion characteristics and non-stationary characteristics of an engine peculiar to an actual vehicle; at least one portion of control requests to the electric machines 4 or the respective electric machines 4 is obtained from the model 7; the model 7 at least includes dual masses at the primary and secondary sides of the multi-mass flywheel and a coach spring or an alternative model for each coach spring; and an algorithm for evaluating the model for the multi-mass flywheel by an integral time step method is mounted in the control units 6. |
