Disclosed is a structure of a cell culture vessel whereby the invasion of particles including microorganisms outside the cell culture space and liquid leakage from the cell culture space can be prevented. A cell culture vessel comprising a medium-holding part, a lid and a valve that is located between a channel toward the medium-holding part and the lid, wherein the lid is provided with a hole into which a tubular member can be inserted. The valve, in which a notch is formed in a definite area, is positioned so that the area including the notch can be contacted with the tubular member inserted through the aforesaid hole. In the medium channel near the opening of the vessel, a tubular member-receiver is provided for position regulation so as to prevent the tubular member from piercing the notch. Thus, this structure ensures hermetic sealing of the medium-holding part regardless of whether the tubular member is joined or not. |
